About Ilyse
I am a New York State licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience providing psychotherapy and counseling services. I received my graduate degree from New York University School of Social Work. My post graduate training includes certifications from the Training Institute for Mental Health and the Institute for Research and Self Psychology. Since 1995, I have been a member of the National Association for Social Workers.
Prior to starting my private practice, I worked for six years at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center counseling individuals, couples and families. I helped my patients address a variety of issues ranging from adjusting to a cancer diagnosis, managing a chronic illness, and coping with feelings related to loss and grief.
